HAQM WorkSpaces now comes with larger root volumes

Starting today, we are expanding HAQM WorkSpaces root volumes from 60GB to 80GB for all HAQM WorkSpaces bundles, at no additional cost to you. Larger volumes allow your users to install and run more applications and store more data, which means they can use their HAQM WorkSpace in more ways than before.

All new HAQM WorkSpaces will automatically be created with an 80GB root volume. For existing HAQM WorkSpaces, you can get the larger root volumes by performing a rebuild from the AWS Console (be sure to follow the guidance posted here).

To get started, log in to the AWS Console, and navigate to HAQM WorkSpaces.
