Your HAQM RDS for Oracle Database Instance can now send emails using utl_smtp package and communicate with external Web Servers and TCP/IP-based servers using utl_http and utl_tcp packages. To learn more about using this feature, refer to HAQM RDS for Oracle documentation.
Your Database Instance needs to be in a VPC to be able to use this feature. To move your non-VPC RDS databases to VPC, follow the instructions in the documentation.
