Microsoft SQL Server 2016 Service Pack 1 (SP1) is now available for HAQM RDS for SQL Server. With this release, features such as Partitioning, Compression and Always Encrypted, which were previously available only in the Enterprise Edition, are available across all SQL Server Editions offered in HAQM RDS.
