Starting today, you can use AWS Secrets Manager to rotate credentials for Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or MariaDB databases hosted on HAQM Relational Database Service (HAQM RDS) automatically. AWS Secrets Manager helps you protect secrets needed to access your applications, services, and IT resources. With AWS Secrets Manager, you can rotate, manage, and retrieve database credentials, API keys, and other secrets throughout their lifecycle. With today’s launch, you can use AWS Secrets Manager to rotate credentials automatically for all HAQM RDS database types -- HAQM Aurora, Maria DB, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.
