AWS has published a service level agreement (SLA) for HAQM Elastic Container Service for Kubernetes (EKS), which provides availability guarantees for HAQM EKS.

AWS will use commercially reasonable efforts to make HAQM EKS available with a Monthly Uptime Percentage, during any monthly billing cycle, of at least 99.9% (the “Service Commitment”). In the event HAQM EKS does not meet the Service Commitment, you will be eligible to receive a Service Credit as described in the HAQM EKS Service Level Agreement.
