HAQM DocumentDB (with MongoDB compatibility) is a fast, scalable, highly available, and fully managed document database service that supports MongoDB workloads. Developers can use the same MongoDB application code, drivers, and tools to run, manage, and scale workloads on HAQM DocumentDB and enjoy improved performance, scalability, and availability without having to worry about managing the underlying infrastructure. Customers can use AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) for free (for six months) to easily migrate their on-premises or HAQM Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) MongoDB databases to HAQM DocumentDB with virtually no downtime. There are no up-front investments required to use HAQM DocumentDB, and customers only pay for the capacity they use.
HAQM DocumentDB is generally available and you can use HAQM DocumentDB in the following AWS regions: US East (N. Virginia), US East (Ohio), US West (Oregon), and Europe (Ireland).
