You can now run your applications on AWS Elastic Beanstalk using the new generation of Docker, Corretto and Python Elastic Beanstalk platforms built on top of HAQM Linux 2 Operating System.
The new generation of Docker on HAQM Linux 2 platforms offer improved I/O performance by utilizing the OverlayFS storage driver. The new generation of Corretto on HAQM Linux 2 platforms come with HAQM Corretto, which is a production-ready distribution of the Open Java Development Kit (OpenJDK). The new generation of Python on HAQM Linux 2 platforms come with numerous improvements including NGINX as a reverse proxy server. To get started, create new AWS Elastic Beanstalk environments using the Elastic Beanstalk console or through the EB CLI and Elastic Beanstalk API. See Release Notes for additional details.
