HAQM Corretto, a no-cost, multi-platform, production-ready distribution of OpenJDK, is now in preview for Alpine Linux.
Our customers have requested the ability to take full advantage of Corretto on a lightweight Linux distribution such as Alpine Linux, enabling faster boot times, embedded devices and more efficient space utilization in container scenarios. Corretto’s performance enhancements and patches, which have proven useful in running our own services at HAQM, are now available on a small form-factor operating system for these scenarios.
Try HAQM Corretto for Alpine Linux now with docker images or directly download either Corretto 11 or Corretto 8. We would also welcome your feedback.
