HAQM DocumentDB (with MongoDB compatibility) is a fast, scalable, highly available, and fully managed document database service that supports MongoDB workloads. As a document database, HAQM DocumentDB makes it easy to store, query, and index JSON data.
HAQM DocumentDB continues to increase compatibility with MongoDB and today added support the ability to use an index for $regex queries and support for null characters in strings. The supported MongoDB APIs and aggregation pipeline capabilities for HAQM DocumentDB can be found here and details about the updated capabilities can be found here.
