HAQM RDS for MySQL has been updated to support release 5.6.48 and release 5.7.30 of the MySQL database. These releases include a number of bug fixes as well as functionality improvements.
To use the new versions, you can create a new HAQM RDS database instance with just a few clicks in the HAQM RDS Management Console, or modify an existing instance using a point-and-click upgrade. See the documentation for more information about MySQL versions and upgrade procedures.
