AWS Config launched 28 new managed rules today across multiple AWS Regions. Managed Config rules are predefined rules that can help you evaluate whether your AWS resource configurations comply with common best practices.

The new rules verify security and operational best practices for services such as HAQM CloudWatch, AWS CloudTrail, HAQM DynamoDB, HAQM Relational Database Service, HAQM EC2, AWS Identity and Access Management, HAQM Redshift, AWS Web Application Firewall and Elastic Load Balancing.
