HAQM Comprehend is a natural language processing (NLP) service that uses machine learning to analyze text documents and identify insights such as sentiment, entities, and topics in text. HAQM Comprehend now supports HAQM Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) endpoints via AWS PrivateLink so customers can securely initiate API calls to HAQM Comprehend from within your VPC and without using public IPs. AWS PrivateLink provides private connectivity between VPCs and AWS services, without ever leaving the HAQM network, while significantly simplifying your internal network architecture. You no longer need to use an Internet Gateway, Network Address Translation (NAT) devices, or firewall proxies to connect to HAQM Comprehend.
Using AWS PrivateLink enables you to privately access HAQM Comprehend APIs from your VPC in a scalable manner by using interface VPC endpoints. A VPC endpoint is an elastic network interface in your subnet with a private IP address that serves as the entry point for all HAQM Comprehend API calls.
AWS PrivateLink support for HAQM Comprehend is now available in all AWS regions where HAQM Comprehend is available. To try the new feature, log in to the HAQM Comprehend console for a code-free experience, or download the AWS SDK. You can also learn more about this new feature in the documentation.
