HAQM Elastic File System (HAQM EFS) integrates with AWS Systems Manager to simplify management of HAQM EFS clients. You can now use AWS Systems Manager to automate the tasks required to install the latest version of the HAQM EFS client (amazon-efs-utils) package on your HAQM EC2 instances maintaining compliance and security by ensuring that the HAQM EFS client is kept up to date. Additionally, you can orchestrate file system mounts to multiple instances using a single command and improve visibility by monitoring the file system mount status using CloudWatch Logs. You do not need to login to your HAQM EC2 instances to manage your HAQM EFS clients.
HAQM EFS provides a simple, scalable, cloud native, fully managed elastic NFS file system for use with AWS Cloud services and on-premises resources. HAQM EFS clients use the amazon-efs-utils package, an open source collection of tools, to connect securely to HAQM EFS file systems. AWS Systems Manager gives you visibility and control of your infrastructure on AWS Cloud.
The integration of HAQM EFS with AWS Systems Manager is available in all AWS Regions. You can learn more by reading the HAQM EFS documentation. To get started, you can use the HAQM EFS console to easily create a file system in just two clicks and the AWS Systems Manager console to manage your HAQM EFS clients.
