HAQM ElastiCache is now available in the Los Angeles AWS Local Zones. You can now run latency-sensitive ElastiCache workloads local to end-users and resources in Local Zones.
To deploy an ElastiCache cluster in the Local Zone, choose the Local Zone as the target Availability Zone while creating the cluster. HAQM ElastiCache on Local Zone supports both Redis and Memcached engines.
