HAQM RDS for Oracle now supports the October 2020 Patch Set Updates (PSU) for Oracle Database 12.1, and the October 2020 Release Update (RU) for Oracle Database 12.2, 18c, and 19c. October 2020 PSU for Oracle Database 11.2 will be launched soon.
Oracle PSUs contain bug fixes and other critical security updates. Beginning with Oracle Database version 12.2.0.1, HAQM RDS for Oracle supports Release Updates (RU) in place of the PSU. To learn more about the Oracle PSUs supported on HAQM RDS, see the HAQM RDS patch update documentation.
