With HAQM Interactive Video Service (HAQM IVS) you can now save your live video content to HAQM Simple Storage Service (HAQM S3). Saved video is available for actions like editing or replaying as a video on-demand (VOD).

When recording is enabled for a channel, live video of that channel is saved to an HAQM S3 bucket you select. All available quality renditions and thumbnail images are saved and recording can be stopped by disabling the feature for a channel. Your recording configuration is also saved, so it can be easily re-used for additional channels. Recordings saved in HAQM S3 will incur standard costs for storage and requests. There is no additional cost for enabling the feature on HAQM IVS channels. To get started, instructions for configuring recording for your channels are available on the documentation pages.

HAQM Interactive Video Service (HAQM IVS) is a managed live streaming solution that is quick and easy to set up, and ideal for creating interactive video experiences. Send your live streams to HAQM IVS using standard streaming software like Open Broadcaster Software (OBS) and the service does everything you need to make low-latency live video available to any viewer around the world, letting you focus on building interactive experiences alongside the live video.

The HAQM IVS console and APIs for control and creation of video streams are available in the US East (N. Virginia), US West (Oregon), and Europe (Ireland) regions. Video ingest and delivery are available around the world over a managed network of infrastructure optimized for live video.
