HAQM Kinesis Data Analytics for Apache Flink now publishes three new container-level metrics to HAQM CloudWatch: CPU Utilization, Memory Utilization, and Disk Utilization of Flink Task Managers. Task Managers are the worker nodes of a Flink application that perform the data processing. These new metrics provide enhanced visibility to Task Manager resource usage and can be used to easily scale applications running on Kinesis Data Analytics.
With this launch, HAQM Kinesis Data Analytics also provides improved logging performance and CloudFormation support for VPC applications and Maintenance Windows.
HAQM Kinesis Data Analytics makes it easy to transform and analyze streaming data in real time with Apache Flink. Apache Flink is an open source framework and engine for processing data streams. HAQM Kinesis Data Analytics reduces the complexity of building and managing Apache Flink applications.
