HAQM Elastic Container Service (HAQM ECS) Service Connect now supports AWS Fargate workloads running on AWS Graviton Processors. Service Connect simplifies service discovery, connectivity and traffic observability for HAQM ECS and helps you build applications faster by letting you focus on the application code instead of your networking infrastructure.
Previously, you could use Service Connect when running your HAQM ECS workloads on AWS Fargate using x86-based CPUs. This launch now adds even more choice to help you optimize performance and cost for running your containerized workloads on HAQM ECS using Service Connect with Fargate’s serverless compute for containers powered by Graviton processors.
