HAQM Kendra is an intelligent search service powered by machine learning, enabling organizations to provide relevant information to customers and employees, when they need it. Starting today, AWS customers can use the HAQM Kendra S3 Connector to index and search documents from S3 hosted in their VPC.
Critical information can be scattered across multiple data sources in an enterprise, including data storage platforms like S3. Customers can host S3 buckets in their VPC for secure access to their data. HAQM Kendra customers can now use the Kendra S3 Connector to also crawl these S3 buckets in a secure environment such as in a customer’s VPC to index documents and search for information across this content using Kendra Intelligent Search.
