Customers that use HAQM Simple Notification Service (HAQM SNS) can now host their applications in Europe (Spain), Europe (Zurich), Middle East (UAE), Asia Pacific (Hyderabad), Asia Pacific (Melbourne) regions, and send text messages (SMS) to consumers in more than 200 countries and territories. Using HAQM SNS, customers can send a message directly to one phone number, or multiple phone numbers at once by subscribing those phone numbers to a topic and sending messages to the topic.
With this expansion, HAQM SNS now supports the ability to send SMS from 28 regions including US East (N. Virginia), US East (Ohio), US West (N. California), US West (Oregon), Canada (Central), South America (Sao Paulo), Europe (Frankfurt), Europe (Ireland), Europe (London), Europe (Milan), Europe (Paris), Europe (Spain), Europe (Stockholm), Europe (Zurich), Middle East (Bahrain), Israel (Tel Aviv), Africa (Cape Town), Asia Pacific (Hyderabad), Asia Pacific (Jakarta), Asia Pacific (Melbourne), Middle East (UAE), Asia Pacific (Mumbai), Asia Pacific (Osaka), Asia Pacific (Singapore), Asia Pacific (Sydney), Asia Pacific (Tokyo), AWS GovCloud (US-East), and AWS GovCloud (US-West).
