Starting today, you can use private cluster endpoints with AWS Batch on HAQM Elastic Kubernetes Service (HAQM EKS). You can bring existing private HAQM EKS clusters and create a compute environment on AWS Batch. This setup enables HAQM EKS jobs to run private endpoints using AWS Batch.
Previously, AWS Batch allowed only for public HAQM EKS clusters to run HAQM EKS workloads through AWS Batch. With this feature, you can now use private HAQM EKS cluster endpoints with AWS Batch. This unlocks key benefits for security-sensitive applications and leverage AWS Batch's managed job scheduling and provisioning without compromising security or compliance policies.
Support for private HAQM EKS clusters on AWS Batch is now generally available in all commercial AWS Regions where AWS Batch is available except YYC.
