Cisco Security Cloud uses Anchore to achieve FedRAMP compliance for its cloud solutions. Anchore integrates with Cisco’s AWS CodePipeline, HAQM ECR registry, and HAQM EKS to scan containers throughout the pipeline, enforcing vulnerability policies. Its integration allowed Cisco to expand Anchore to HAQM ECS and generate software bill of materials for the cybersecurity executive order. The comprehensive Anchore solution on AWS strengthened Cisco’s regulated security posture.

Organizations can enhance resilience by implementing HAQM Security Lake for centralized security data storage, Splunk for real-time data analysis, and Recorded Future for advanced threat intelligence. This unified approach tackles data silos, complex analysis, slow threat detection, compliance challenges, and inefficient resource utilization. Security Lake aggregates data sources, Splunk analyzes it with AI/ML for swift threat identification, and Recorded Future provides external intelligence context.

Arcanum AI migrated its generative AI workloads from OpenAI to AWS using a two-phase model evaluation process. Open-source LLMs were tested out-of-the-box and with customized prompts, scored by experts, and evaluated against existing use cases. HAQM Bedrock provided a private network and access control for handling sensitive client data. AWS’s AI services enabled Arcanum to deploy top-performing LLMs securely in clients’ VPCs, outperforming OpenAI models while meeting security needs.

This post presents a cost-effective, serverless multi-tenant SaaS architecture utilizing AWS managed services. Users can belong to multiple tenants via HAQM Cognito user groups, and the solution enables seamless tenant switching and allows tenants to define custom roles with HAQM DynamoDB transactions. By leveraging AWS services, the architecture provides security, isolation, custom permissions, and flexibility to scale without operational overhead.

When designing IT solutions, a one-size-fits-all approach misses opportunities for performance and cost savings. Exxeta proposes a use-case driven architecture approach that fits IT components to specific business processes. A real-world example shows how this approach helped an automotive company build a high-performance, scalable analytics solution at a lower cost by utilizing fit-for-purpose technologies like Apache HBase and HAQM S3.

The 3-2-1 backup strategy ensures data protection by maintaining multiple copies across different storage media, with at least one copy offsite. As companies adopt SaaS applications, they need strategies to backup critical SaaS data. Own Company (formerly OwnBackup) enables SaaS data backups to HAQM S3, providing data autonomy, meeting recovery objectives, and allowing data analysis.

Organizations face increasing demands for transparency around environmental, social, and governance (ESG) matters. PwC’s Unified Sustainability Hub helps access and manage ESG data, providing automated data ingestion, a centralized view of sustainability performance, intelligent data extraction, carbon accounting, reporting/analytics, forecasting capabilities, and a generative AI assistant. It accelerates sustainability transitions by integrating stakeholders, processes, and standards.

Business intelligence (BI) teams aim to automate HAQM QuickSight asset deployment across environments. CyberCX developed a solution using AWS Step Functions to orchestrate exporting QuickSight analyses from one environment and importing them to another, simplifying migration. This reusable module integrates with CyberCX’s broader serverless data platform but can standalone. The entire solution is designed with security in mind and follows the principles of least privilege access.

As organizations migrate applications to the cloud, they need tools to assess application portfolios for cloud readiness. CAST Highlight provides automated analysis of custom applications, identifying issues like outdated code, cloud migration blockers, and opportunities for cloud-native services. By integrating with AWS Migration Hub Journeys, CAST offers a template to orchestrate analysis of large portfolios across teams to accelerate cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
