The AWS SaaS Factory team recently worked with Automatic Data Processing (ADP) to help build its next gen HCM solution as a SaaS offering on AWS. ADP leveraged AWS services for its next gen human capital management (HCM) and payroll platform that helps organizations create highly personalized work and pay experiences. AWS Config continuously monitors and records your AWS resource configurations, and allows you to automate the evaluation of recorded configurations against desired configurations. This post aims to assist you on deploying a set of custom AWS Config Rules that leverages third-party REST APIs to evaluate AWS resources in an automated fashion. The AWS Config evaluations represented in this guide show the reporting status of HAQM EC2 instances against TrendMicro and Qualys.

Mactores used a five-step approach to migrate, with zero downtime, a large manufacturing company from an Oracle on-premises data warehouse to HAQM Redshift. The result was lower total cost of ownership and triple the performance for dependent business processes and reports. The migration tripled the customer’s performance of reports, dashboards, and business processes, and lowered TCO by 30 percent. Data refresh rates dropped from 48 hours to three hours.

AWS Training & Certification recently announced enhancements to our AWS Certification digital badges, making it even easier to verify an individual’s earned certifications and to showcase your team’s certification achievements. This post is for APN Partners to learn about changes in how AWS Certification digital badges are verified, and to advise badge earners they will need to update their badge links before August 1, 2020, in order to continue sharing their digital badge.

Next Caller uses machine learning on AWS to drive data analysis and the processing pipeline. HAQM SageMaker helps Next Caller understand call pathways through the telephone network, rendering analysis in approximately 125 milliseconds with the VeriCall analysis engine. VeriCall verifies that a phone call is coming from the physical device that owns the phone number, and flags spoofed calls and other suspicious interactions in real-time.
