AWS Week in Review – July 7, 2014 Let’s take a quick look at what happened in AWS-land last week: Monday, July 7 We announced New Practice Exams for AWS Certification. We launched New Active Directory Integration Features for HAQM WorkSpaces. We introduced Additional IAM Support in the AWS Billing Console (also covered in the AWS Security Blog). Tuesday, July 8 Nothing happened. Wednesday, July 9 We announced a New Location for CloudFront and Route 53 – Melbourne, Australia. We announced an AWS Direct Connect Update – A Second Location in Sydney, Australia. Thursday, July 10 We introduced HAQM Zocalo – Document Storage and Sharing for the Enterprise. We introduced New AWS Mobile Services. The AWS DevOps Blog showed you how to Use HAQM CloudWatch Logs With AWS OpsWorks. Friday, July 11 The AWS PHP Developer Blog announced the Release of Version 2.6.11 of the AWS SDK for PHP. The AWS Startup Collection published a 300-level article on Practical VPC Design. We introduced new AWS Test Drives: Big Data (Tableau and Jaspersoft),, Security (SecureSphere and Twilio), and Microsoft (SteelApp). We added new AWS Customer Success Stories from The GPT Group, Trust5, and Vingle. We published the AWS New York Summit 2014 Presentations. AWS Marketplace added new products including CloudLink Encrypted NAS from AFORE Solutions and ScienceOps from Yhat. Stay tuned for next week!
