Our friends at Netflix announced the Security Monkey – AWS Security Configuration Monitoring and Analysis. Tuesday, July 1 We announced New Low Cost EC2 Instances With Burstable Performance. We announced that ElastiCache Now Supports the M3 and R3 Instance Types. The AWS Security Blog unveiled A New and Standardized Way to Manage Credentials in the AWS SDKs. Wednesday, July 2 I wrote about PeachDish – Login, Pay, Cook, and Eat With AWS. We issued a Route 53 Update – Editing and Tagging. I published a guest post to show you how to Use Elastic MapReduce as a Generic Hadoop Cluster Manager. The AWS Application Management Blog showed you how to Use New T2 Instances With an Existing Elastic Beanstalk Application. The AWS Java Development Blog showed you how to use HAQM S3 Server-Side Encryption with Customer-Provided Keys. The HAQM Mobile App Distribution Blog showed you how to Build the App Your Customers Want: Beta Test with HAQM A/B Testing Service. We announced some AWS GovCloud (US) Enhancements for HAQM SNS. Thursday, July 3 Last week AWS Marketplace added new products including IdP from SecureAuth, Video Transcoder from Cognizant, and SecureSphere Web Application Firewall from Imperva.
