HAQM S3 Express One Zone announces significant price reductions, including reducing pricing for storage by 31%, PUTs by 55%, and GETS by 85%. In addition, S3 Express One Zone has reduced its per-gigabyte data upload and retrieval charges by 60% and now applies these charges to all bytes rather than just portions of requests exceeding 512 kilobytes.

Mistral AI’s multimodal model, Pixtral Large 25.02, is now available in HAQM Bedrock as a fully managed, serverless offering with cross-Region inference support, multilingual capabilities, and a 128K context window that can process images alongside text.

HAQM Nova Sonic is a new foundation model on HAQM Bedrock that streamlines speech-enabled applications by offering unified speech recognition and generation capabilities, enabling natural conversations with contextual understanding while eliminating the need for multiple fragmented models.

HAQM Bedrock Guardrails introduces enhanced capabilities to help enterprises implement responsible AI at scale, including multimodal toxicity detection, PII protection, IAM policy enforcement, selective policy application, and policy analysis features that customers like Grab, Remitly, and KONE are leveraging to standardize safeguards across generative AI applications.

HAQM Nova Reel 1.1 enables the generation of multi-shot videos up to 2-minutes in length and style consistency across shots, and quality and latency improvements over HAQM Nova Reel 1.0.
