As businesses continue to build new applications using serverless, event-driven architectures, the need for individuals with serverless expertise also continues to grow. For those interested in developing their serverless skills, this blog outlines a learning path that individuals can follow to not only build their skill set, but also earn badges and certifications that can be shared with professional networks.

In April 2023, we released 15 digital training products on AWS Skill Builder, including AWS Jam Journey: Security re:Invent and a new AWS Builder Lab for AWS Skill Builder subscribers, and three learning plans (with digital badges) for cloud essentials, Media and Entertainment, and HAQM Connect. We are updating the AWS Certified Security – Specialty exam, and learners who complete all 12 assignments in AWS Cloud Quest: Cloud Practitioner can earn a 25% off exam voucher for AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.

AWS Training and Certification courses and offerings in December 2022 include AWS Industry Quest: Financial Services, a fourth learning path for AWS Jam Journey, a sixth role for AWS Cloud Quest, and 13 AWS Builder Labs. There are seven, free, fundamental-level digital courses; two classroom courses about planning and managing databases on AWS and HAQM SageMaker Studio; two AWS Partner courses about security essentials and AWS GovCloud (US); and an AWS Certification update about the availability of online Mandarin-speaking proctors in Mainland China.
