Capella Space Detects Global Events with Geospatial Imagery on HAQM SageMaker
In this video, Payam Banazadeh, CEO and founder, describes how Capella Space uses AWS solutions to collect, process, and make available petabytes of data in near real time, with low latency and low reactivity.
Using HAQM SageMaker, Capella Space is building complex machine learning (ML) models on Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellite imagery. By applying ML to SAR imagery, Capella can automatically detect global events in near real time without being hindered by weather or time of day.
