Whether you are new to the cloud or an experienced user, you will learn something new at an AWS Summit. These events, held around the world, are designed to educate new customers about the AWS platform and offer existing customers deep technical content to be more successful with AWS.

All AWS Summits feature a keynote address highlighting the latest announcements and customer testimonials, technical sessions led by AWS experts, and hands-on technical training. You will learn best practices for deploying applications on AWS, optimizing performance, monitoring cloud resources, managing security, cutting costs, and more. You will also have opportunities to meet AWS staff and partners to get your technical questions answered.

The closest access to the RAI is Europaplein station. You can view ways to get to The RAI here.

By train: Railway station Amsterdam RAI is 300 metres from the RAI and has direct connection with Duivendrecht, Amsterdam Amstel, Amsterdam Zuid and Schiphol railwaystations, which are linked to the international InterCity network. Follow the signs RAI Amsterdam when you leave the station.

By tram, metro and bus: Tram 4 runs between the centre of Amsterdam, Amsterdam Central and the RAI (stop at Europaplein). Metro 52 will take you from Amsterdam Centraal Station or Station Zuid to RAI Amsterdam. You get off the metro at the Europaplein Station and exit in front of our door. Metro 50 runs between Amsterdam Sloterdijk and Gein and stops at Station Amsterdam RAI. From Station Amstel you can reach us by metro 51 (Station Amsterdam RAI), bus 62 (stop Europaplein) or bus 65 (stop Scheldeplein).

By car: Directly on approaching Amsterdam via the motorway A1, A2 or A4 and entering the ring road (A10), the RAI is inpuated on the sign boards. RAI Amsterdam is located along-side the ring road (exit 9). From the exit the route to the car parks is indicated.

All sessions will be presented either in English.

AWS Summit Amsterdam does not offer continuing or professional education credits nor does AWS offer a certificate of attendance. Attendees can participate in Training & Certification sessions onsite, but please note credits will not be awarded.

No, AWS does not reimburse or validate parking or other travel associated costs.

Onsite at AWS Summit Amsterdam, sessions will be filled on a first-come first-seated basis. We recommend you use the AWS Summit Amsterdam mobile app to help organize your day, and allow plenty of time to navigate between rooms. Download the mobile app for Android or IOS. A link to the app will be provided closer to the event date - keep an eye on your emails for updates.

For the keynote, there are only 3,400 seats in the auditorium which will be filled at a first-come, first-seated basis. If you can't get a seat in the auditorium, the keynote will be streamed in Breakout Hall 4-6 next door. Follow signage at the venue and hosts will be on hand to direct you.

If you are taking part in a workshop please remember to bring your laptop, charger and any external devices you may require. Please note, you must bring a laptop and not a tablet, with WiFi networking (not wired networking). If you're using a corporate laptop please ensure that it can connect via WiFi and doesn't require wired networking.

The AWS Summit Amsterdam app is called “AWS Events” and will be available for download on all standard mobile app stores one week before the event. The app will allow you to view all sessions taking place, access floorplans, manage your calendar for the day of the event and more. More details will be share with registered attendees closer to the time.

If you offer to have your badge scanned by a sponsor or at a sponsor-branded session, you are requesting AWS share your name, contact information, title, and company with that sponsor so it may contact you by email, phone, and post for marketing purposes. This is optional - you may choose not to offer your badge. For questions, please refer to the AWS Privacy Notice. Contact the sponsor to unsubscribe from the sponsor’s marketing communications. Providing the sponsor with your information may involve transferring it to another country. The AWS Summit Amsterdam is free to attend.

The event will be held at the The RAI in central Amsterdam on Wednesday, 16th April 2025.

Directions

Yes. All attendees must be at least 18 years of age on the day they pick up their conference badge.

If you have registered, you should receive a confirmation email shortly after registering. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please check your spam folder. Once you have checked your spam folder, if you still haven't received your confirmation email, you can either contact us or join us on event day for same day registration assistance.

You may cancel your AWS Summit Amsterdam registration by contacting us.

Onsite at the AWS Summit Amsterdam, sessions will be filled on a first-come first-seated basis. As seats are not guaranteed, there is no need to pre-register.

Registration opens at 08:00 on 16th April 2025. If you're arriving to Europaplein station, allow time to get out as the area may be very congested.

To check-in and collect your event badge, bring your QR code (sent via email one week before the event) and a government-issued photo ID. A reminder will be sent closer to the event.

Accessibility & Special Requirements

The AWS Summit Amsterdam venue (The RAI) has been designed to make everyone’s visit as productive and comfortable as possible. Read more about the facility’s accessibility here.

We have closed captioning in all rooms for those who are hard of hearing. There will be designated seats for wheel chair and companion seating as well.

Just after passing the registration area onsite, there will be a designated accessibility desk with a team there to assist with information about your personal questions. Every effort will be made to provide reasonable accommodations.

Vegetarian / Vegan options are labelled at lunch. Additional food options will be available at pay as you go restaurants within the venue, which speak to most dietary requirements.
