Whether you’re an AWS enthusiast or a brand new user, there’s something for everyone at the AWS Summit Hamburg. Our wide variety of sessions are designed to help all levels of AWS user connect, collaborate and learn.

All AWS Summits feature a keynote address highlighting the latest announcements and customer testimonials, technical sessions led by AWS experts, and hands-on technical training. You will learn best practices for deploying applications on AWS, optimizing performance, monitoring cloud resources, managing security, cutting costs, and more. You will also have opportunities to meet AWS staff and partners to get your technical questions answered.

No, AWS does not reimburse or validate parking or other travel associated costs.

AWS Summit Hamburg does not offer continuing or professional education credits nor does AWS offer a certificate of attendance. Attendees can participate in Training & Certification sessions onsite, but please note credits will not be awarded.

There is no dress code for attendees. Attendee attire varies from business casual, suits, hoodies, and jeans. Please wear what you are comfortable in.

Yes, you will find a wardrobe & luggage storage onsite.

All sessions will be presented either in English or German.

At this time, we do not accept submissions for AWS Summit speakers or session content although we always appreciate customer feedback.

The AWS Events app will be available to download two weeks before the event and will allow you to view all sessions taking place, access floor plans, manage your calendar for the day of the event and more. More details will be share with registered attendees closer to the time.

No. Registration is complimentary for this event and includes keynote, sessions, expo hall, and access to meals and receptions.

Yes. All attendees must be at least 18 years of age on the event day.

If you have registered, you should receive a confirmation email shortly after registering. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please check your spam folder. Once you have checked your spam folder, if you still haven't received your confirmation email, please contact us.

 

You may cancel your AWS Summit Hamburg registration by contacting us.

Check-in opens at 08:00 on Thursday, 5 June 2025. Please arrive early to avoid waiting times.

To check-in and collect your event badge, bring your QR code (sent via email one week before the event) and a government-issued photo ID. A reminder will be sent closer to the event.

Onsite at AWS Summit Hamburg, the keynote as well as all sessions will be filled on a first-come first-seated basis. We recommend you use the AWS Events mobile app to help organize your day, and allow plenty of time to navigate between rooms. Download the mobile app for Android or iOS. A link to the app will be provided closer to the event date - keep an eye on your emails for updates.

For the keynote, there are 5,000 seats in the Keynote Hall which will be filled at a first-come, first-seated basis. If you can't get a seat in there, join any of the breakout sessions in Hall A2/A4 as the keynote will be streamed.

The AWS Summit Hamburg venue, Hamburg Messe, has been designed to make everyone’s visit as productive and comfortable as possible. If you need additional assistance or have accommodation requests, please contact us at least one week prior to the event. Every effort will be made to provide reasonable accommodations.

 

Vegetarian / Vegan options are labelled at lunch. Please contact us for gluten free, Halal or Kosher food options.
