Who should attend AWS HouseWarming?
AWS workshops are a perfect learning experience for hands-on people and folks who want to experience first hand how to build on AWS, such as software developers, software architects, administrators and ops engineers, IT executives, and technical decision makers. Participants have the opportunity to work through hands-on labs and build on AWS under the guidance of the instructors. AWS HouseWarming is also a great opportunity for community-building and networking.
What topics will be covered by the workshops at AWS HouseWarming?
Workshops cover several hot topics that we know are relevant to customers, such as AI/ML, Generative AI, Application Modernization, Business Applications, Containers, Cloud Operations and Governance, Data and Analytics, IoT, Networking, NextGen Developer Experience, SaaS, SAP, Security, Serverless, and Sustainability.
Where does AWS HouseWarming take place?
What do participants have to bring?
Participants only need to bring their laptops and an appetite for learning and networking. For some workshops it’s helpful to have a smartphone. AWS facilitators bring AWS accounts for everyone to run through the workshop labs.
What does it cost to join AWS HouseWarming?
Participants can join a workshop in the morning shift and another workshop in the afternoon shift, all free-of-charge. However, as the meeting rooms we use to run the workshops have limited seats, we require a registration and allow only as many participants as there are seats available.
Will participants be offered drinks and food?
Participants will be provided with free drinks, such as coffee, tee, and water, as well as free snacks. However, there is no full lunch and dinner catering following the shifts. Participants who join both shifts can use the two-hour break between them for lunch outside and to move over to the afternoon venue.
