HAQM Machine Image (AMI)
An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. HAQM EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
Version release notes
- Both UEFI and BIOS versions are available.
- Update AWS drivers and system patches to the latest supported versions;
- System default time zone changed to "(UTC) Coordinated Universal Time";
- HAQM EC2Launch settings to remove the option to set the computer name;
- Some optimization parameter adjustments.
Note: The startup time of the instance may take 5-15 minutes, the specific startup time is related to the size of the instance and the configuration of the disk parameters.
