An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. HAQM EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

Usage instructions
After the instance is started, you will be able to access the CKAN interface via a web browser using the IP of your instance.
Use 'ec2-user' as the username to SSH into the instance.
In order to access all of the functions of the system, you will need to login with a sysadmin account. You can reset the 'sysadmin' user's password via SSH by following the instructions at http://helpdesk.links.com.au/kb/faq.php?id=10
