Sign in using the following credentials: Username: ubuntu Keyword: the key specified at launch Use command "sudo su - " to switch to root.
Note that the following directories may save your sensitive information, you can redefine it in the configuration file /etc/cassandra/cassandra.yaml; The data storage directory is /var/lib/cassandra/data; The log data storage directory is /var/lib/cassandra/commitlog; The cache data storage directory is /var/lib/cassandra/saved_caches;
BE CARLFUL: The memory of the instance must be greater than 2G, otherwise the program cannot run;
To verify Cassandra is running, use the flowing command: nodetool status
To interact with cassandra , please use the flowing command to enter the shell : cqlsh
Start the service of Cassandra : cassandra -f
Restart the service of Cassandra : cassandra -R

The following example on how to access your EC2 instance Navigate to your HAQM EC2 console and verify that you're in the correct region. Choose Instance and select your launched instance. Select the server to display your metadata page and choose the Status checks tab at the bottom of the page to review if your status checks passed or failed.
