SAP BO - Top rated BI system in a multinational organization
What do you like best about the product?
Using Web Intelligence tool you can create sophisticated reports and share them on SAP BI platform across the organization. Easy to use from a business users perspective. Possibility to access the reports via URL link without any additional local software on a users PC allows user to use BI reports in the portal or ERP single page applications. Lots of possibilities to maintain user authorizations. BI Audit functionality allows you to analyze the usage of SAP BO. Alert functionality gives the opportunity to get the information about the systems malfunction. SAP BO Monitoring displays the status of the BO servers. Easy to transport the content between different SAP BO environments (DEV, QA, PROD). Performance optimization.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is complicated and can cost a lot of money to implement SAP Business Objects. Without any experience with previous SAP BO versions it can be a little hard to understand the software and the way SAP Business Objects works.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SAP Business Objects is used by following departments: Finance, Line Management, Business Controlling, Marketing, HR, Corporate etc. It is used across the whole organization in many countries around the world.
