Well Rounded and adjustable Anti-Virus with great customer support
What do you like best about the product?
Watchguard support has always been very responsive to tickets, with the resolution coming within a few days. The admin documentation is very clear and easy to understand making it easy to research issues or common alerts/errors before contacting support. For the product we use (Anti-Virus) its very customizable with an easy to use UI.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product we use is Anti-Virus and we often run into a lot of false positives. It seems difficult to adjust rules or settings within the Anti-Virus to help reduce false positive alerts. It's also difficult that a lot of features are separate addons for purchase when it feels like some things such as the SIEM reader should be included in the cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Watchguard is taking care of our Anti-Virus to prevent security issues, breaches, etc. The positive of WatchGuard is don't question whether is going to catch malicious files on our end users machines as the Anti-Virus has proven itself to be efficient and effective.

Very easy to user and straight forward.

Easy to use and secure, user friendly interface.

VPN setup is too complicated and managing it is pretty difficult, complicated to find where everything is set up.

Haven't run into any issues.

We can configure offline File and deploy, Support always available and with optimal answers, loyalty with partner

Lack of graphics on monitoring screens and reports screens

Visibility and Correlation between the various perimeter boundaries
Endpoint, easy to use, works 100% and good to go

Easy to install and manage, no overhead on devices, no user complaints and no Malware

Ordering the product always seems to take longer than it should

we have much fewer worries, especially ransomware, low cost saves our budgets

The Fireboxes are easy to configure, the interface is clear and configurable. It is possible to access the configuration on the web, in the cloud and with a dedicated application.. The support service responds quickly and well
What do you dislike about the product?
none. This is a good product. The only small criticism concerns the recent deletion of the centralized management function of wifi terminals via the firewall to the detriment of cloud management with subscription.

This allows you to filter and analyze all incoming and outgoing traffic on the internet.
This also allows us to set up VPNs for remote access.

Effective Protection at a good price
What do you like best about the product?
Simple setup once license is activated, base settings provide good protection, IPS works great out of the box.
What do you dislike about the product?
Could have a better info dashboard on the device itself, similar to the online WatchGuard management that gives a good overview of how it is performing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Base protection against known suspect IP's and general threat protection in a simple license.

I've been using the Watchguard solution since 2006, I'm really satisfied with this product, no incident, easy to use, Flexibility...

I see that the reporting tools are not enough detailed! must act as dhcp server to get the names of Pc and users on their reports

drag and drop vpn, use of vpn with ssl for client working from home
