What do you like best about the product?
User friendly. Our nontechnical users can use it with very little training

Performance. Its still slow at times and needs to fixed sooner than later

We have been able to handle most types of reports and dashboards and Sisense continues to grow and expand its capabilities

- limitations in terms of size of data which in this age of big data can be limiting in our specific use cases

Pretty easy to set up and use for a beginner.

Not may options for data visualizations.

Create what you Imagine
What do you like best about the product?
Sisense is extremely user friendly. I feel like anyone could sit down for an hour without any previous experience and be able to create a great dashboard. The support forums are a great resource and the community is very helpful when your trying to create something exactly how you imagined.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like there are many odd bugs that appear and not a lot of documentation about resolutions. Sometimes the page needs to be reloaded or the data sources are not loaded in. Also, I always find the need to create pivot tables like I can in excel but can never find a way to create it with the pivot tool in sisense. Not because I don't know how or am not using scripts, but because I honestly don't think it can be done with sisense at the moment. But excel can do it easy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our clients definitely want customized dashboards and we have been able to do that. Blox has been one of the most significant impact for customization and performance increases. An example would be we have combined 9 dashboards into one using blox.
Sisense the trending BI tool
What do you like best about the product?
Sisense enables any setup to rationalize the semantics for their Data and provide all around analytics for their customers. Their Data modeling using Live Models and ecubes provides data mapping capabilities to achieve optimum efficiency for analysis.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Sisense tool still needs to be optimized for better efficiency in terms of speed for data processing,
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to provide our customers with tools and framework to improvise their workbench having the analytical widgets for data manipulation and interpretation.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like functionality where you can filter out your KPI and create comparisons so easy.
You just need to add parentheses and column that you want to filter by - very simple whereas in other tools it takes so much work arounds.
Here it is literally (SUM(KPI), CITY) and you get sum filtered by whichever city you want just in this single metric.
I also like the option to drill into the specific fields of the dashboard to get more insights. It is really cool feature that works only if the elasticube is properly built

What should be improved is administration. When I want to change connection string of a data source, I would like the change to be applicable to all tables that use this data source without a need to do it for each and every table.

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part is the platform flexibility. I'm able to add/removed columns easily and efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sisense can be laggy at times, but it usually catches back up after a page refresh.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sisense allows me to analyze our data and optimize our marketing campaigns in order to maximize ROI. I've realized multiple issues in our campaigns and have been able to resolve the issues so that we don't loos money.

Make sure to click the maximize button in the top left corner of each widget. This will give you the option to add/removed columns and see exactly what you need.
Powerful Tool But Make Sure You Have The Resources To Effectively Use It
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to manipulate all of the data from numerous data sources. What would usually take days or weeks to build could take an hour or two..
What do you dislike about the product?
The sharing capabilities could be better. Right now it's a little clumsy in that regard. Also the ability to create reports from multiple data sources is definitely easier than it would be without SiSense but there is still a learning curve that we are working through in order to build dashboards effectively.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to build a report to allow us to project product sales better and identify products that are trending below our goals, giving us the ability to make proactive adjustments to reach our goals rather than looking at numbers after the fact and trying to identify why we didn't reach our goals and what we could have done better.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a very powerful tool but you need to make sure that you have the resources to use it effectively and you should make sure that you have a plan in place for who will lead the effort for driving a data driven culture and what reports will have the most impact on your company to start with.
Sisense, BI simplified
What do you like best about the product?
The design and flow are very simple, comprehensive and clear. from all the BI tools I've worked with, this one has received the best feedback from our end users, they love their simplicity. Another great feature is the elasticube, wich allow BI developers to connect multiple sources & stitch data without additional data infrastructure like a data warehouse.
What do you dislike about the product?
Well, it's hard to say, this is a relly good tool, but i'm substracting 1 point from the perfect score for this tool for 2 main reasons: First, the version I worked with didn't support statistical analysis, projections and statistical packages/languages integration (R, Python) neither in elasticube or the visualization client, so, you may have to preprocess the data to perform this kind of analysis, (In my opnion, the lack of this feature could follow a good practice, since by removing this kind of calculations from the interface increase the tool performance, but i would be great if this feature was enabled on the elasticube or at least enable analytical functions). The second reason is that you require to install a web server to develop dashboards, this causes serveral issues if you have any other tool that requires to install nother local web server. Also it reduces your computer performance, so, be sure to disable the environment when not using it.

I used this tool to built an enterprise BI solution to track business operations from a large company (+2,000 employees) including financial stats, product delivery and performance.

Ask for IoT & Alexa integrations Sisense has a lot of interesting interfaces that are changing the way we conceive BI
Intuitive flexible and capable BI tool for organizations of all sizes
What do you like best about the product?
We are relatively new to Sisense, but we have really enjoyed the intuitiveness of the tool from the beginning. As all tools do, it has some limitations, but the ease of configuration and the ability to get going quickly is one of the things we like the best.
What do you dislike about the product?
Many features are accomplished with community-based plugins which aren't officially supported, so if you intend to add complex functionality then you also need to have an ability to support plugins internally, or you have to find a way to have that managed for you.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of getting information to people. Hands down, this is the biggest benefit. We're moving away from static reports and moving towards giving people the ability to answer questions on their own without more report development time.
