Periscope is Great - fast, easy, usable by all
What do you like best about the product?
Periscope lets us very quickly explore and navigate our data. It makes creating and sharing insights super easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love more investment into schema management. We have a lot of tables and columns, and features that helped us better organize would be great
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a wide range of analytics needs: understanding clients growth trends, analyzing patterns in use behavior, and optimizing internal processes. For example, we use Periscope to track our marketing spend and marketing leads, to understand how much ROI we're generating to track marketing KPIs

Very easy to get started - worth trialing and deciding for yourself!

Fantastic visibility for everyone in muy org
What do you like best about the product?
Periscope lets me create relevant data points to provide visibility to everyone in my organization, from team members to investors.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd love to be able to plug more widgets from Periscope into public facing sites (although I'm sure this is already possible).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Many. Monitoring and tracking trends from operations to sales and revenue, more. Pericsope allows for broad insight into the health of our company for everyone who needs it.
Great customer support and a great tool to make the most of your data
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy to use Periscope Data is and the visualizations are simple and all created within SQL. Their various feature integration makes it a must-have data visualization tool! (e.g. Python/R, Git). It's a suitable tool for both data-novice and data-savvy people. They also have GREAT customer service. The Customer Success Managers are professional and are for the company's benefit, the Solutions Engineer are swift and amazing at what they do with great customer service. I loved everyone that I had a chance to talk to from Periscope Data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very little -- hope that you guys can provide more data support for people who are using Periscope Data to learn all about data analytics and data science!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Demonstrating company KPIs, monitoring new product features, diagnosing company health. Since we can pull data from a variety sources, Periscope Data becomes are final reporting platform where everyone in the company can monitor their performance.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a product that continues to get better over time! They are actively implementing new features, strengthening their customer support and creating good content online for people to use.
Nimble implementation, ample tech features
What do you like best about the product?
In chip memory, performance with relatively large data sets.
What do you dislike about the product?
Web based elasticube manager is not a complete feature, still constrained to using the server.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Inventory Optimization. We are solving complicated challenges related to inventory turnover, which is reducing our days' supply in the field while increasing sales rate.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We've done head to heads with "the best" (according to Gartner Magic Quadrant), and for processing power and flexibility of data modeling, Sisense beats them all. For centralized analytics, I have not come across a better solution.
Very easy for non-technical users
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to release new dashboards & widgets into the wild with little heartburn that users won't know how to navigate the data. Once established the look/ feel is controlled so they can't hurt themselves by adding in data that could cause adverse conditions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the formulas are a bit complex to use in what would otherwise be easy in SQL. In order to query the data and be able to support basically any combination of joins and aggregates, they tend to make overly complicated queries to send to their query processor. It would be nice if they could give advanced users the ability to write SQL directly that affects on screen widgets within the dashboards themselves.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Able to trace down issues with our product delivery that would otherwise take a number of different reports that would have to be maintained by very technical personnel. We can create some simple indicators with pop-up detail tables that allow our users more autonomy that is available through a standard reporting server.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Support is excellent. Generally respond within one business day to most issues. If they can't help you via email, then a goto will be available for them to help debug your issue. We have used the support a number of times and there has only been one issue that wasn't resolvable.
Powerful B.I Solution
What do you like best about the product?
It's a very powerful, BI solution, that can pull information from many different platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be rather buggy, fixes to issues are slower than I like. So, as a result, I have many workarounds.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A much more robust view of our companies and our client's data.
Great Product for Business Insight and Intelligence - A Business Savior.
What do you like best about the product?
Dashboards and Multiple data source.
Filters - 2 Level of filters. This is good have.

Searching the EC tables are great.

Sisense server frequent upgrades with new features, still less investment in enhancing reported problems in older versions.
Mapping in EC Visualization. Rebuild of EC to view table data while it is already connected to DB. Scrolling issues EC interfaces.
No Auto save is not good, should be there. IF we forgot to save the whole work will go in vein.
The windows server uses lot of resources and performance is it slow. We are expecting to check the Linux version soon. Hope it will solve out problem.
The Custom Widget Implementation should be enhanced to be used as directives in JS Frameworks easily. This will same loads of time. If it supports to extend custom SASS capabilities will be awesome to give look as desired in any dashboards we build.
Notifications and Exports of dashboards in PDF can we enhanced well. Currently, the whole graphs goes off while once trying to export the multiple graphs dashboards. We can do multiple things around this features.

Unified dashboards for projects being done. Major benefits is in highlighting the works delays, progress, not started status in real time.

Works as Advertised
What do you like best about the product?
We were able to build and deploy a sophisticated Ad Tech BI platform within a few weeks. I love the web-based tools that allow you to perform most tasks without ever having to install any client-side software.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike really just looking forward to more features and functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to visualize the Ad and audience data on a single dashboard was very powerful and definitely contributed to the overall company perception. We were able to communicate complicated relationships between data sets visually and easily.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
As an embedded platform for analytics, it is top notch. I recommend this platform for standalone use as well given its ease of use and web-centric design you get up and running quickly. The support team is great to work with and very professional. We have been able to extend the platform by implementing our own custom visualization plugins creating a very custom appearance to our implementations.
Saving 4 hours a week not having to pull reports
What do you like best about the product?
Every Monday I come in to work and spend 4-5 hours pulling reports and building a marketing/sales funnel. All I have to do now is go to my Sisense Dashboard to get everything I need.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can take a while to set up so definitely go through a training.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
TIME! I am saving so much time that I can now apply to other revenue generating activities. Plus I can slice and dice the data more easily to improve in a number of areas.

What do you like best about the product?
We like the performance, time to deploy, user friendly, mobile and user experience.

Actually in our Company we have no any dislike with Sisense
