BI for Everyone
What do you like best about the product?
Sisense proved to me that a BI platform, Dashboards and Analycs can be implemented by anyone even with little experience in BI as I did. With an Excellent on boarding process and excelent support from additional parties as required, we managed not only to have most of the data integrated and shown in dashboards. management are able to see insights of the business that was not possible before.
What do you dislike about the product?
When there is a need for real BI consultant (not only support) after the on boarding stage, it is more difficult to get that with sisense. There may be a need to go to additional Sisense partner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fast and easy visibility of the Machines productivity. Being able to see who are the leading customers and satisfied ones, all in one click. Surprising insight that one pricing model wasnt as beneficial as expcted when it was modeled.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The On boarding and setup time as well as the on going customer success partnership are excellent. The only disappointment is the fact that when needing some high level BI consultancy, we will need to find an additional BI consultant company specializing in sisense to help support the high level modeling and how to structure future ECs

What do you like best about the product?
Sisense enables users to put together data from different data sources very easily. With the built in widgets and the use of javascript helps users to customize any dashboard they want. Dashboard preparation does not take long and using filters is not confusing with respect to competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
The speed of builds are slow when there are lots of builds at the same time. But you can get around that with the API they provide. If there was support besides Windows Sisense would work more efficiently while building cubes and distributing data from the server.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefits of Sisense is that we can easily share information to internal customers in seconds. The use of their API has enabled us to automate builds within a schedule. This helps us to maintain a smooth workflow to provide information within the company without any delays.

I don't like if a software has too many configuration steps.

We want a dynamic dashboard which can be built by the customers with minimal training. The data should be real time. Sisense dashboard are very powerful and can be easily built with minimal training. We are working on getting the real time data into the dashboards at his point.

What do you like best about the product?
There are a LOT of powerful-yet-easy-to-use charts & other presentation tools, that can be used to build a Dashboard in a very short time, with minimal expertise. In addition to the mostly pre-formatted graphic 'widgets', they offer multiple APIs for customization and integration, which require a lot more time & effort, but recent videos & webinars are helping ease the 'learning curve' on that as well. The wide range of connectors and modeling dynamics available in their ElastiCube design help ensure that the fullest access methods/modes and most elegant structural designs can be applied to the supporting data. And their ever-growing list of supported 'add-ons' and 'plug-ins', coupled with their strong technical support and very 'active' customer management style, guarantees the greatest probability of success.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their overall website design, & specifically support ticket interface, is somewhat less-than-intuitive at times, but they do 'welcome' feedback (even if response/resolution time is a little disappointing).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sisense is helping us gain a better understanding of the data we have to work with. This includes discovering previously-unknown correlations or disparities, as well as data entry &/or quality shortfalls. The insights into trends and real-time status monitoring and notification tools are raising management awareness and moving us closer to a proactive vs. reactive posture.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take utmost advantage of as many current webinars as possible, as they offer latest/greatest info on capabilities & changes, and allow you the opportunity to ask specific questions of the company's best experts & 'insiders'. Also, try to fully utilize the requirements analysis tools (documents & techniques) provided by the Customer Success Manager (CSM) and make the most of your interactions with them and any technicians with whom you're placed in contact.
Complex Data <-> Clear Visual Representation
What do you like best about the product?
Sisense offers a very well formatted visual representation of complex data and the ability to work with it.

When working with too large data or trying to create advanced complex structures

We work with a global population of shoppers which creates a huge inflow of data on a daily basis which is not easily manageable on the visual front without any good Sisense sort of tech
