Great experience
What do you like best about the product?
The onboarding process was really good.
I very much appreciate the customer support and the ongoing talks we have to see how it is going and how things can be improved.

What do you dislike about the product?
I do not particularly dislike anything: the new web elastic cube will take some time to get used to, but it will be ok.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A lot of excel sheets have been replaced. Automation of email lists and dashboards for business analysis made everything much more manageable and fast.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Keep things simple. It's easier to manage a greater number of small ec than a smaller number of big ones

A Sisense beginner
What do you like best about the product?
Sisense is more streamlined than other tools we performed proof of concepts on. The core customer support and trainers have been very friendly and supportive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes support is unclear in their instructions and expects a more advanced knowledge of how to integrate their product into our system when we have never integrated a BI tool before.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have multiple data sources and sets that need managed and combined for reporting. Sisense has helped with quick and accurate reporting. Another benefit is that Sisense has helped us find which data sets are accurate and which need to be fixed.
Solid Product with Low Tech Bar
What do you like best about the product?
Price was reasonable, less technological expertise needed than for other vendors. Good out-of-the-box functionality and documentation. Community and company are extremely responsive regarding additional features and support. The speed of the application and the usefulness of the analytics are fantastic.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited visualizations can be painful, and the community is not as large or robust as other vendors
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lack of visibility and low technical competence results in poor performance. Unit sales, shipment, and market analytics are easy to perform deep-dives into. No benefits yet as we are in the middle of implementation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Probably the best out-of-the-box solution that we evaluated for analytics and intelligence. Easy to use, but with room to grow with technical capabilities (JS, Python, R, REST APIs). Great data conglomeration and accessibility.
Sisense BI - an early IT Analyst's Perspective/Review
What do you like best about the product?
Sisense Business Intelligence was our company's go to choice for internal analytics as well as embedded analytics for customer access. The web based architecture is easy to edit/rebrand without much coding experience. The Elasticube is easy to import data from many sources and keep as a SSOT (single source of truth) for data schemas.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dashboard designers have the power to design advanced level formulas and calculations that can be over bearing. Data transformation is limited and this needs to be done in the DB level / cube level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Customer visibility - Access high level dashboards and reports from live data. Greater insight into merchandise, inventory, shipping, etc.
2. Internal users - greater insight into data - Warehouse, inventory, reports, raw data

What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to setup an elasticube and create dynamic dashboards.
What do you dislike about the product?
The MongoDB seems to get corrupted very easily causing slowness in the application.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A quick look at our data without having to building cumbersome reports.
BI Tool for today's market
What do you like best about the product?
Sisense is very easy to setup and use, if you are familiar with warehouse, star schema, analysis cube concepts and basic BI concepts, this tool, installation, development and usage is pretty much self explanatory, if you are not aware of these concepts, you have account manager, technical and support staff, and online documentation available to easily pick concepts and topics
What do you dislike about the product?
Most BI tools are either dependent on data analysis on relational database (warehouse) others (like Sisense) work best with its own data layer (Elasticube), its a matter of ROLAP vs MOLAP, I think its about time some tool, hopefully Sisense takes a stab at HOLAP (Hybrid) approach so data-to-intelligence/analysis time is shortened, for some larger datasets, elasticube preparation can take some time, also IMHO, this will help address some of very complex "query path" issues
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For now we are looking at trends and creating velocity and forecasts dashboards,.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Not that you will need it a whole lot, but in case you need support Sisense team will go out of their way to provide help as soon as possible, if its a feature enhancement for your installation, they might even bring that feature in core product and will keep you updated on its development stage and release date
Ease of use and implementation
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use for end users and for designers to develop, ease of implementation and managing the cloud data. However, formatting the dashboards can be a bit tricky sometimes. But there's good customer service to help you troubleshoot when you need.
What do you dislike about the product?

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently visualizing all the data for specific departments to analyze sales and backlog as well as regional performances. The tool provides ease of access for the sales data as well as the ability to drill down to answer specific problems.

What do you like best about the product?
The data visualization is made easier, but I wish you didn’t have to use as many Java Scripts to customize certain things.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be tricky to embed in the platform but once you do it is easy to create and deploy content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to create a central repository of information that can be analyzed ( i.e. customer alerts, overall view of sites, and allowing to make better-informed decisions on inventory purchases).

Need some detailed programming experience.

Need to pull together data from multiple sources across the organization. Allows management to easily investigate the metrics without having to deal with all the underlying data.

Sisense is definitely a BI Industry leader and they are constantly improving the product.
Sisense has helped manage big data sets and get valuable visuals and identify trends.

I like the ease in which you can bring multiple data sets together and get meaningful insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have any real dislikes but the product Sisense offers is evolving all of the time so i would say it would be limited visuals but this becoming less relevant.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
one of the many problems was cross analysing google analytics data with real time sales from none ecom sources based on leads generated but Sisense has helped achieve this.
