What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and the management team supporting my needs. Jan has helped us with any issues we have as we navigate the trials and tribulations of adding a new system to our environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
I had certain issues during onboarding. The onboarding technician we had wasn't as knowledgable on the platform and our needs but our client success manager helped to support those shortcomings and help us get the best experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to support our clients day to day needs to make better business decisions (i.e. what payers to get credentialed with, what providers are successful/unsuccessful, etc)

Excellent. Makes BI Dashboards easy and give you room to develop BI into something bigger
What do you like best about the product?
Very stable and easy platform to grow your MI dashboard business and insight. While you can get up and running quickly with simple dashboards we have found that the platform is capable of much more with live integrations and big data sets. The data is very easy to share. The Sisense team is really nice to deal with and positive and the support is excellent. I do feel they truly want us to succeed. They are also proactive with new developments to make sure the product is at the leading edge of integrations and capability. They have also been very supportive of us pushing the boundaries of what is possible with Sisense and helping us find great development partners. It really has transformed our company's understanding of our business.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not really a dislike, more of an observation that you will likely need help integrating more complex data and formulas when you move out of the basic level, but we have found great partners through Sisense to work with us. If you factor that in (and the cost) at the start it will help
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bringing a large number of disparate data sets together, ranging from manual app based information gathering to per second live data in a single place, then analyzing that data to ensure our business is optimized. Creating automatic revenue and performance reports for stakeholders and automating other processes. this has reduced costs and increased performance and profits.

What do you like best about the product?
Data models with various sources are created in minutes. the dashboard tool has good heuristics.
The implementation process was thorough and very useful. The relationship manager is knowledgeable, helpful, and available.

What do you dislike about the product?
The help desk was difficult to find for submitting a ticket.
The professional services team is smaller than expected, which forced us to find a third party to help customize some plugins.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have implemented various dashboards that provide new transparency into our data. Executives can now confirm suspicions and make better informed decisions.
Amazingly powerful and efficient
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to have access to raw data without delay. The charts are clean and easy to produce. Python and R functionality enables you to make more complex graphs and do more sophisticated analysis than raw SQL.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how hard it is to move charts within a dashboard. If you have to rearrange sections of dashboards, it takes minutes of scrolling and shifting the reordering window. I suggest adding functionality to be able to move groups of charts together.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Periscope fulfills our reporting needs, analytical needs, and enables us to have a clearer picture of product performance.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The caching feature makes the platform incredibly fast. That along is a selling point.

Ease of use. Our previous BI provider gave us 90 days notice they were closing their doors. We were able to get a dashboard up quickly.

The software meets our needs, not many complaints

What do you like best about the product?
The people, from the sales team to the support team, are excellent.
The product is great, overall it gives you a lot of leverage on your data over using other solutions, you can have a dashboard ready within a couple of hours, that for us is a killer feature, enabling our business to react more quickly to the dynamics of the industry, and to dive more deeply into the great amount of data we ingest.
Periscope takes a lot of care on security measures, so you can be assured that your data is safe.
If you get bigger, you can have your own Redshift cluster managed by Periscope, wich is in great help, because you don't need to hire IT people or move away from your core business.
The product is great, overall it gives you a lot of leverage on your data over using other solutions, you can have a dashboard ready within a couple of hours, that for us is a killer feature, enabling our business to react more quickly to the dynamics of the industry, and to dive more deeply into the great amount of data we ingest.
Periscope takes a lot of care on security measures, so you can be assured that your data is safe.

We have a little thing with the pricing structure, but ant the end it's still affordable anyways once you know how to bring more value to your business with better data and better insights

Getting insights faster on our data, quicker iterations and an awesome flexibility for the nontechnical users using the datasets.
More speed and reliability, having our reporting/insights platform decoupled from our main stack, running on a slave database, and that improves the speed on our stack.

You need to take some time in order to evaluate if your business needs to be heavily data-driven.
If not, then this is not the tool for you.

Great data analytics tool - not the best design
What do you like best about the product?
We used Periscope Data for internal data analytics within a lot of our departments. In my department, we used it to keep track of customer subscriptions and customer professional service resources.
What do you dislike about the product?
Creating custom data charts was a bit complicated, and the look and feel (design) of Periscope was not great. It was laggy sometimes, but that may have been because it was pulling data from Salesforce.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using data to perform data-driven decisions. Utilizing data to determine hiring needs, potential problems or shortcomings of a department or specific team member, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely play around with it and get to know its features. You may be surprised at what sort of analytics you can do on your data.
Superb Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to run analysis in Python 2, 3, and R. Documentation for Redshift and Periscope is very well written, and their customer service team is top notch.
What do you dislike about the product?
The SQL learning curve is steep, very steep.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing automated reports to our management team frees up a ton of time for myself personally. The ability to run high end analytics, and not just display data, will allow us to take Waitr to the next level.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend Periscope to any company using a microservice architecture specifically for the ability to have all your databases in one place with the ability to add new views across said db's.

Their assistance individuals are effective, expert, knowledgable, and simply good individuals. There have actually been obstacles as we press the limitations of performance, however assistance from both the sisense assistance and the sisense neighborhood individuals has actually enabled us to press through those obstacles. Sisense has a important and exceptionally helpful item today, and I anticipate seeing the item roadmap pertained to truth.

The item does not have the capability to see it's own functional metrics on a control panel. When you export a control panel into an image it does not look too great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We required a service for our consumer website that supported a high level of information security, was quickly ingrained and might produce engaging control panels.
