User friendly but sophisticated automation software

What do you like best about the product?
Support post go-live is excellent from the supplier. Good account management service.
Rich command library which means non-developers can quickly deploy robots.
Good product strategy and clear roadmap for improvement.
Queue management functionality which means automated workload management.
Team is really passionate about their product and taking on-board customer feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
I used to dislike the lack of queue management in previous versions (v10 or earlier) but the current version v11 has delivered this functionality so workload management can be fully automated.
Product did have some gaps around sophisticated email integration e.g. moving emails between folders, filtering emails which has since been plugged by Automation Anywhere through the development of a metabot. Ability to run on a schedule in disconnected mode for virtual desktops (it can run in logged off or locked mode, just not disconnected mode) - minor gripe.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have automated circa 60 processes across SAP, Salesforce, web, document management systems and MS office documents. We delivered payback of investment within 9 to 12 months. Whatever cost we invested in build of robots, we've found is a recurring annual benefit.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Run a pilot and try it out for yourself to cut through the marketing hype.
Automation Anywhere has one of the largest customer bases for a reason.

What do you like best about the product?
Tool is easy to use. Allows integration with multiple systems and applications.
The support model is good and Automation Anywhere team truly acts like your partners in business.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tool has a few limitations wherein object cloning fails unexpectedly with some applications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are applying automation in multiple areas of pharma commercial organisations. The use cases vary from reporting to analytics.

We have gained efficiency and quality benefits across various projects.

What do you like best about the product?
The best part of Automation is when you see the smile and praises from customers, who don't have to do the manual work anymore.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard part of Automation is finding the right processes, hiring the right resources and stabilizing the Bots in unattended environment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Manual work across all GBS verticals have been automated and have saved 10 FTE capacity
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Understand how Automation will fit in your environment, what processes are right for Automation and if Automation Anywhere can help with those processes. Do a POC with the same process across all vendors if you are not sure which one to choose. Talk to other clients who have used Automation Anywhere to learn from their experiences.

What do you like best about the product?
- Progressive mindset of the company
- Evolution of the product from a normal robotic automation , to building analytics and moving forward in building products with cognitive capabilities like IQBots which largely reduce development time
What do you dislike about the product?
-No dislikes as such as the product does deliver all automation features seamlessly . They did not have assisted automation (Front office BOTs ) & queue management which they have finally brought in enterprise 11.x
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
-Both direct and indirect benefits
-100 plus FTE saves
- 300k GBP indirect saves
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is one of the market leading tools for RPA and automation capabilities. I would strongly advise consumers to use AA vs other tools in the market.

What do you like best about the product?
What sets AA Apart from its competitors is the Product Road map and their support team
What do you dislike about the product?
AA v 10.5 seriously lacks few key features like Q mechanism compared to other Vendors

By Automating highly manual and repetitive tasks we were able to free up human resources to focus on things which add more value to the business we are in

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to understand how to use commands .
Deploying bots from control room .
Eliminating the IIS concept in 11.3 .
Bot insights concepts seems to present the metrics in better way to Business.
What do you dislike about the product?
Audit trail should be more improvised .
while we are in the debugging mode player tasks are running slow and we are not able to enter the run task .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we performed automations in Finance sector , sales and order management related .This automation is saving so much of time and workload to Business .

What do you like best about the product?
Simple coding way of drag and drop, very basic applicatipns can be automated
What do you dislike about the product?
very less customization available, user should be given opportunity to code using language of his choice or run scripts written in python, java

Automation on SFDC and finance applications- mostly excel based.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
AA code has reliability issues, sync issues, monitoring BOTs is a measure drawback
