Migration successful to Sophos XG Firewall
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the ease of administration of Sophos XG Firewall and its very efficient ergonomics.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some missing features or functions that one would expect as standard and that are not yet present or not fully developed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having previously had a Netasq security solution, the migration to Sophos XG Firewall provided me with simplified and much more visual management of my company's firewall.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sophos XG Firewall is a good product but still has some shortcomings.

Great firewall, does the job well
What do you like best about the product?
It does a great job blocking spam and malware. No annoying pop ups every hour like other firewalls.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very little I dislike about the software. No firewall is perfect and suspicious activity comes up every so often, but overall great product
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves many issues including blocking of malicious website activity, alerts for malicious traffic and behavior, and detects viruses and malware
Sophos XG - Great Firewall and even better endpoint protection.
What do you like best about the product?
Love the Endpoint protection and the sandstorm sandboxing, AI and a great IPS. The threat protection and botnet protection is great. Their new Deep Learning technology is quite impressive how it detects without using a signature. The product itself is great and cost-effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integration seems to be better for end use with VEAAM with VMWare. The interface itself is quite simple to use, however sometimes getting ahold of technical support there were long wait periods.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Intrusion prevention, threat protection and botnet protection. We've been able to stop IPS attacks quicker and mitigate higher risk situations.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great product just make sure it integrates with your current network and future plans.

I like how much safer I feel when I have Sophos on my computer.

It takes up a lot of RAM space on my computer.

I am solving security problems on local network computers.
Sophos XG Firewall
What do you like best about the product?
I have the same Internet access regardless of which computer I connect to, it shows alerts of the dangerous pages, and it makes revision of the emails and we the users are not affected.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not the same work console of all the Sophos applications that the company has.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Now we have a VPN for all users and mobile devices, when we have to do an exhibition we only take a device and when we connect it we have a safe navigation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
They must put together a security plan and create necessary policies, before buying the equipment, which will save you a lot of time in the implementation.

That we always need an administrator to utilize its advanced capabilities.

I has limited user handling capability, frequent slowness issue if you are operating a big infrastructure .

Best NSG firewall with IPS technology to defend the threats and controlling QoS in Company network.And keep eye on netflow also .

less customizable feature of IPS because you are unable to add your known signatures

I like that it doesnt block my music and that it works well with my Lync and other start up programs
