What do you like best about the product?
Recently came across this, still exploring the functionality and loving every bit of it. Very user firendly. using it everyday.

It's too early to comment on this, whatever i have learnt or explored didn't find anything that one will not like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping in allocating the work, plan my day as well as teams.

I would like to have a desktop application on mac, that would greatly improve my experience!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to easily build different views for the different projects and teams I'm collaborating with. Gives me a good vision of my schedule for the next week and an overview of the company's advancement on the current year.
Exactly what I needed
What do you like best about the product?
I was looking for something more advanced than my DIY project management spreadsheet but without the high cost of a big-business solution - as a sole trader/freelancer I just wanted to be able to manage my workload day-by-day, with flexibility to move things around where needed - add in my days off, customise my hours and most importantly - keep on top of my work!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wasn't looking for an overly complicated software so I really like the simplicity of Float but I'm sure over time some additional features wouldn't hurt - like different views - but I've only been using it for a couple of weeks so I may not have discovered all it has to offer yet!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making sure I don't take on too much work but can spot when there are gaps and so I can increase both my productivity and profitability. I can also create projects, project phases and tasks and assign clients to each so everything is super organised and I can see how my day, week and month is looking at a quick glance.
Simple, effortless interface and usability
What do you like best about the product?
Speed of use and being able to get an instand snapshot of what's going on. I'm on the receiving end of the scheduling, but as the agency's ECD I need to know what's going on in a heartbeat. Float gives me this visibility and allows me to get into things fast.

Nothing yet. It's going well. I've heard good things from the team and I find it easy to use.

What do you like best about the product?
Using float is really simple, with the possibility of accessing the functionality directly from the sidebar without making many clicks.
It's easy to monitor your schedule, but at the same time also enter the hour logs by inserting the little necessary information.
The reporting part is very useful.

For my use, I haven't found anything negative about using float.
Maybe you're asked to log in a little too often, but it's easy to get back into the app.

I suppose the company I work for chose float for the simplicity with which it can manage work schedules and be able to associate or remove projects with employees.
They can also easily track and get an overview of how people are scheduled and what projects they work on.

Everyone's work day is up, so we can reshuffle work around if needed

Efficient Resource Planning Made Easy
What do you like best about the product?
Float has been an exceptional tool for our organization's resource planning. Its user-friendly interface makes scheduling very easy, and the drag-and-drop feature simplifies adjustments, saving us a lot of time. We use it daily to view resource availability in real-time and this allows us to allocate our team effectively, ensuring no one is overbooked. The integration with Outlook in our example has also streamlined our workflow, making Float a central hub for all our planning needs. The customer support is responsive and helpful whenever we've had questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Float has been largely beneficial, one area that could improve is the reporting functionality. It would be great to have more advanced reporting options directly within Float, particularly for tracking long-term trends in resource utilization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float has significantly improved our resource allocation and project management processes. Before using Float, we often struggled with overlapping schedules in Outlook and other tools and underutilized resources, leading to inefficiencies and delays. Now, with Float, we have a clear overview of our team’s availability, allowing us to assign tasks more effectively and avoid bottlenecks. This has led to better project outcomes and increased productivity across our organization. The ability to forecast resource needs also helps us plan for future projects more accurately.
