Easy to Impliment

  • May 20, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Cloud solution is easy to impliment - We had it up and running in an hour or two.
IDE remembers the tabs and queries you had open.
Cheap solution to impliment.
Costing platform is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited functionality in terms of functions, sub queries and some flexible dynamic tricks that SQL can do , that Snowflake can't.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Setup our datawarehouse over a weekend and was able to bring together different data sources.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Really easy to implement and their costing platform is great.
There is a bit of learning and frustrations if you switch from MS SQL, as snowflake has its own little quirks and some more advanced sub quering and transformations that does not work.

Automate the configuration.

  • April 27, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The strength of Snowflake is that its SQL is robust and easy to use in a changing environment. Snowflake supports various data sets, both structured and unstructured. That makes climbing much easier, but also more economical.
What do you dislike about the product?
Speed and mobility could be increased. Snowflake is predicated on a non-PMPP database and may delay automation for temporary loads.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Snowflake makes it easy to automate the configuration, procurement, maintenance and expansion of your cloud storage. We are meeting our business intelligence reporting needs. The time it takes to obtain information is much shorter, and more detailed questions about the data can be asked.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
When comparing storage systems with computer systems, consideration should be given to the concept of completely separating them from competition. You should also understand that you need to set up a way to load information into its environment.

Fantastic resource to collect information.

  • April 24, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
With a genuinely effective database, instead of spending time on retrieval and documentation solutions, you will be able to generate real results with little to no effort in constructing and maintaining your database and little to no time in collecting data. Additionally, when a customer is found, you can now see if they have been ordered, whether they have been ordered, and what procedures are being changed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Snowflake does not support general table expressions. We make the most of encryption, but we think there's space for development. Also, error messages are often confusing, particularly when a configuration table is added, and the new database ends up doing just that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
You should consult our information proactively at Snowflake.com to collect information on all facets of your business and activities. I often use it to increase my awareness of search engines as it helps me to collect information that researchers do not automatically have access to.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Snowflake is a fantastic resource since a lot of information is processed easily. This is very useful for businesses who want to optimize the balance in a big search engine.

Our solution for data management.

  • April 20, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Snowflake is an amazing system that covers organized and semi-structured information to provide ready-to-use applications including JSON, ORC, XML and other semi-structured information. This allows you to focus on data management instead of functional testing in a database engine that has been developed. Its layout is common to the another SQL frameworks I've been using, and it's relatively simple to use because of the efficient way it looks at the connections between tables.
What do you dislike about the product?
For fairly complex queries, the response time may be very long; SSIS is connected to its ODBC, but it takes a little longer to get information from Snow Brand. In addition, co-related sub-inquiries are not endorsed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A few years ago, my company used Snowflake instead of Redshift to query data at SQL level, and Snowflake is the most common standard SQL data browser used as a data storage tool. You can easily process and delete resources on your computer, easily expand and contract them with simulated storage while maintaining secure data transfer.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Snowflake is the way to go if you want a massively scalable cloud storage system. This will allow software engineers to focus more on technical work to help them grow.

Storing data about key clients is easier.

  • April 15, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The Snowflake is easy to install and operate. The ability to immediately move clusters from top to bottom provides great adaptability in terms of achievement and profitability. In my opinion, the best feature of the snowflake should be "time-travel". Time journey is a thought of capturing data at a certain time and Snowflake also provides a "share" capacity that makes it easier to share data internally. The ability of Snowflake to clone has served us well in our experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much to say, but a cloud storage study has shown that Snowflake is one of the various adjustable and scalable data storage solutions on the market.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Snowflake allows you to combine most data sources into one theoretical space, making it easy for clients to create reports.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hire an expert to help you move, support ANSI SQL and use Oracle SQL language, though it is designed in many aspects that are very different from other databases.

Snowflake - Speed on the Cloud!

  • November 20, 2019
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Snowflake is a database and a storage warehouse on the cloud. Since it's scalable on demand, retrieving data through Snowflake Warehouses is lighting fast. All the computing power required to run the SQL queries are taken care by the Warehouse size we choose. If a query is taking too long to run a quick switch to a bigger warehouse does wonders. Migrating and loading data into Snowflake is a breeze too via Snowflake Stages and COPY TO commands.
What do you dislike about the product?
Snowflake doesn't enforce constraints, especially primary keys. So, care should be taken while doing INSERTs and UPSERTs to maintain data integrity. This lack of this feature is understandable since it's projected more as a storage warehouse.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Maintaining on-premise database systems is expensive and maintenance heavy. Moving to a cloud database like Snowflake cuts down costs and is easy to maintain also. Since Snowflake supports a variety of flat file formats as sources, it becomes easier to bulk load data as flat files in storage spaces like AWS S3. Migrating data from cloud storage to Snowflake becomes much more easier.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Companies with on-premise database systems moving to Snowflake cloud database is a no-brainer.
Snowflake has command line tools which help in rapid data loading. Snowflake supports multiple data sources and various flat file types.

Store massive quantities of data with Snowflake

  • November 11, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Snowflake has some rugged archive features that make it run easily. It makes reporting questions run on our production environments for a relatively short time. Also, Snowflake comes with a DBA feature that's very helpful for maintenance tasks of a project, such as patches and constant updates. It is easy to customize and it makes operating loads easy to handle from online stores.
What do you dislike about the product?
In Snowflake, questions don't get a limit size, since the computer power grows with the search volume, implying that we have greatly increased the things that we can check into.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Snowflake is an ideal way to store massive quantities of data. It offers us all the valuable tools and strong features in the most common secure data processing system, as it gives us the capability to increase or decrease the storage date based on the workload. For the portal and the user interface reports, Snowflake has allowed us to make some good progress, generally with the responses.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend Snowflake for any company that needs a key instrument for evaluating the experimental workload. There are other possibilities for evaluating quantitative and real-time procedures, but Snowflake is definitely one of the best in the market right now, as it offers a great expenditure, which is crucial in how productively the database server will be used. Also, the Data Warehouse as a Service concept by Snowflake eliminates management optimization activity typically undertaken by programmers.

Snowflake: a great substitute to Redshift

  • November 06, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Snowflake has an interesting architecture that embraces structured and semi-structured data, as it offers ready-to-use applications that include semi-structured data like JSON, ORC, and XML. This will allows you to concentrate more on information management rather than regression testing with the designed-in database engine. The interface is more similar to the other SQL query structures which I have used and is pretty easy to use since there's a way to see connection entre the tables efficiently. It allows us to solves many market issues, from the delivery of our products through to the payment process.
What do you dislike about the product?
In rather complicated queries, the hit times are quite high. Although SSIS is linked to the ODBC, retrieving information from the snowflake can be a bit sluggish. Also, the correlated sub-queries are not supported.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A couple of years ago, Snowflake was deployed in my company as a substitute to Redshift for the SQL level, which enables us to query data. Snowflake is used as a tool for storing data in the most common data browsers in Standard SQL language. It makes easy processing and computer removal of resources, easy expansion, and reduction with simulated stores while keeping a safe data transfer, something no other suppliers offer with instant funds and auto-balancing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need a highly scalable cloud-based storage system, then Snowflake will be the perfect tool for you. It will enable software engineers to concentrate more on the technical assignments that will traduce in the growth of your
