What do you like best about the product?
The UI is pretty easy to use and intuitive in nature.
Flag management is pretty easy. LD provides an intuitive interface for creating, monitoring, and adjusting flags. The history of the flags is easily accessible as well

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometime while adding the rules, some of the fields that are not even populated are accepted. Was confusing for me the first time around.
Rules are not easily visualisable. If we can somehow expose an api using which the user can play around and check for response in diff scenarios

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team uses it primarily for feature management. Features are often released behind a flag and are later enabled for either all or certain set of users
Awesome experience using LaunchDarkly
What do you like best about the product?
I was able to progressively release my feature involving multiple feature flags both at frontend & backend in a single go. This gave me a lot of confidence and a peace of mind.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall good experience so far. Have no complaints as such.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Controlling the release of my features on a need basis.
Very User friendly config store
What do you like best about the product?
1. Ease of use
2. The insights/evaluation feature which lets us see which rule got hit how many times
3. Ease of Integration

What do you dislike about the product?
1. The only thing is lack of validation mechanism - Given its a UI which allows us to write free text, it would be better that we are also optionally allowed to guardrails/UT/any other mechanism that can avoid chances of manual mistakes
2. Some times the config we update becomes a huge json. Would like the editor/input text area to be be able to format/beautify the text as needed so it becomes more readable

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Config Store - We extensively use LD as our dynamic config store which can be updated anytime and changes reflect within seconds. This lets us launch and maintain softwares really easily
2. Feature flag - Again this is our primary usecase. We use LD to enable/disable a feature to facilitate its launch
3. Degradation Lever - Sometimes we need to disable features to mitigate ongoing issues or intentionally degrade features in case of duress

What do you like best about the product?
You do not have to write rollout code and there is a UI available to use. Being able to toggle my env's differbntly and being able to rollout to a user or a percetage has been most useful for my team. I look forward to using other LD features and ppreciate that more features are coming.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing has been unhelpful but the simple fact that we are using a 3rd party adds compplexity if LD has any downtime.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
An out of the box solution for feature managment which benefits us b/c we do not need to spend dev time on it. Having analytics has also been beneficial.
Launch Darkly provides with real-time control over feature release but requires careful management
What do you like best about the product?
- Ease of adding new variation
- Real time changes to feature flags

What do you dislike about the product?
- learning curve is huge for new onboarding
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Launch darjly neatly provides for all configuration against a project like all environments that can be adjusted for their values. The new UI is super clean
LaunchDarkly is the best app to maintain feature flags
What do you like best about the product?
LaunchDarkly provides an Intuitive interface and precise targeting.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside is the automatic renaming of the feature flag key when you change its name. This can lead to potential bugs if it's missed. It would be great if there was an option to change the display name without altering the underlying key value.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LaunchDarkly is making managements of feature flags easier for our team, using which we can release products to a smaller population of people first for better perspective.
Effective feature flagging and experimentation tool
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, enables controlled feature rollouts and experimentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI breaks when manually targeting over 10k users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LaunchDarkly allows us to safely release new features, run experiments, and take risks without impacting the user experience, which speeds up decision-making and iterations.

Experience with LaunchDarkly: Feature Flag Management and Controlled Rollouts
What do you like best about the product?
I like LaunchDarkly's ability to seamlessly manage feature flags and control rollouts, enabling quick, safe deployments and A/B testing without requiring code changes or restarts. Its real-time toggling, comprehensive analytics, and role-based access controls make it invaluable for dynamic feature management and reducing risk during releases.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside of LaunchDarkly is its complexity at scale, particularly when managing a large number of feature flags across multiple environments. It can be challenging to maintain flag hygiene, and the cost can increase significantly as the usage grows. Additionally, the UI might feel cluttered when dealing with numerous flags, making it difficult to find specific ones quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LaunchDarkly helps streamline A/B testing and feature management by allowing us to toggle features on and off without deploying new code. This enables faster and safer releases, reduces deployment risks, and facilitates experimentation with different versions of features in real-time. It also allows us to target specific user segments, which helps in gathering insights and feedback, ultimately leading to better product decisions and user experiences.
