An Innovative way to manage your stuffs...!
What do you like best about the product?
LauchDarkly has fantastic software that helps to build and ship software faster and most innovative way, and feature management provides a framework that helps in the development, testing and experimentation. All put together delivers things faster, and UI is user-friendly too. You can flag almost everything and track them down with continue delivery.
What do you dislike about the product?
LaunchDarkly doesn't have any serious issues as of now. Everything works well, and the team is constantly updating/upgrading the software; that's a big plus. If something they can improve is the assignment of roles can be fine-grained.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been using LaunchDarkly for core development, testing and delivery of software. LaunchDarkly comes in handy when you experiment. That's where the team is spending most of their time and effortless tracking power.

Feature flag management for enterprises!!
What do you like best about the product?
LaunchDarkly is one of the Enterprise Products which is out there in the market to really help the developer teams with feature flag toggling requirements.
The granularity that Launchdarkly has when we can configure the same to target the users is at scale and has more governance with the help of workflows and approvals along with RBAC.

What do you dislike about the product?
When compared with the other marketplace tools that serve the same purpose, pricing is a bit higher and some customers do have concern over the Data Privacy as LD Collects PII as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We leverage the feature flag management to control and target the users for beta updates, and EAP features. LauchDarkly has made Developers' work easier to achieve the Feature Toggles and roll back as soon as any issues are found while releasing any new feature. Its enterprise features allow more governance across several projects.
Feature toggle was last decade, LD is doing contnual integrations
What do you like best about the product?
Earlier, we used to depend on the backend team for flag management, there used to be a couchbase document or a SQL table controlling the flow of feature toggles, but a simple tool like LD eliminated that requirement. For me, it is really easy to manage my feature flags from a interactive UI and keep track of state of my toggles
What do you dislike about the product?
Lot of work needs to be done on experimentation side, A/B testing support is rather minimal with absense of statistics about how many times the toggle is made available in sampling of users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Feature Toggle management, cleaner non cookie-based way to manage new releases.
LaunchDarkly has allowed us to deliver 70x faster than before
What do you like best about the product?
LaunchDarkly is instrumental when it comes to helping engineering and product teams achieve continuous deployment goals. Furthermore, there hasn't been an easier tool to manage feature rollouts to individual customers, customer segments, or just percentages of customers. LaunchDarkly has empowered our product marketing to truly determine when and how to launch new features into the marketplace. No longer do we require date-driven coordinations and can instead focus on building quality software irrespective of code deployments.
Favorite features:
* Ability to cover all types of roll-out scenarios
* Feature flag first where other products are experimentation-first
* Different types of flags (string, bool, JSON)
* Automated scheduling and workflows
* Robust API to build custom processes/experiences on top of
* Triggers for self-healing (e.g,, Datadog alert calls LaunchDarkly to turn off a feature)
* JIRA integration to see flag state from tickets.

What do you dislike about the product?
LaunchDarkly hits most of the desired features in a Feature Flagging tool. What could really set it apart is ...
* SSO is an add-on. Prefer to have services that value security regardless of what tier.
* Having an option between Pro and Enterprise to help those in that growth space. Pro has limited security controls but Enterprise is pricey and hard to move into.
* Would like to see more robust integrations especially for dynamic segments. (e.g., populate a segment based on snowflake query)
* Kill switch tends to trip up new users. ON doesn't always mean its on rather means its serving flag values based on the rules configured. It's possible to have a setup where ON will serve the 'off' variation but that isn't immediately obvious.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LaunchDarkly solves the problem being able to decouple code deployments from feature releases using a variety of roll-out strategies. It has had direct impact in our ability to move from legacy engineering practices to continuous deployment. It has also enable our product/marketing teams to better coordinate when to introduce features into the market place. Probably the biggest benefit it has is that we can now test in production safely without customers being impacted then slow ramp the traffic and watch telemetry to ensure its stable. Having ability to shut off a feature that is unhealthy is really powerful.
Easy to implement (couple of sprints) and very easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
SDK is very easy to use and implement. So far from the POC it seems to work great
What do you dislike about the product?
None. As mentioned above its easy to use and implement
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently doing a POC to add feature flags that will enable turning features on and off easily. POC is successful so far
LaunchDarkly Made Deployment Risk-Free and Easy
What do you like best about the product?
I like the core feature management feature; it is easy to set up and use; it has tons of integration available for use; it has a great built-in audit tools for admin usage.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it is missing some needed quality-of-life functionalities such as batch apply / delete flags, I also see the need to open up the community to allow us to work on some of our needed features
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The deployment stress, flexibilities to allow us control which portion of the users get which portion of the functionalities, easy for us to roll back breaking changes.
Amazing team well connected to our Vision
What do you like best about the product?
They truly understand our use cases and care about our success
What do you dislike about the product?
Not at this time. All is going well with the launch.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Migration to scaled agile releases
Early adoption thoughts
What do you like best about the product?
Working with them as we first work through our proof of concept has been amazing.
They have many great resources to help us ensure we start on the correct foot!
They have many great resources to help us ensure we start on the correct foot!
What do you dislike about the product?
It's almost too easy to get started meaning you could start running before you've learned to crawl.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Minimizing the blast radius to our customers, speeding up our delivery of value, allowing our developers to focus on creating value.
Feature control made powerful
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to see live changes and updates when toggling in the UI. Control of configuring multiple aspects of flags and controlling multiple flags via inheritance. Insights on flag history and audit capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
UI is confusing for new users. For me personally, it has to do with the layout and structuring of how things are placed as well as certain terminology and what is implied when using different aspects of the product. Feels like it needs to be re-evaluated and there needs to be a way to improve where things are and how they are presented. Right now it is a rather in-your-face type of feeling.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to toggle on/off different features and code paths for specific customers or groups of customers. Separation of dev/staging/prod toggles and control. Fallback control to return to the old behavior in event of undesired issues.
Awesome experience
What do you like best about the product?
It has a great user experience to run experiments
What do you dislike about the product?
It will likely need a lot of use cases that needs to be solved to be used at a larger company
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating test only features
