Great all-in-one BI product.
What do you like best about the product?
Love that we can do all of our data warehousing, transforms, and modeling in once place. The number of out-of-the-box connectors accessible is also a huge benefit.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've been unimpressed with some of their scheduled reporting functionality. Specifically, I find it irritating that I don't have more control over the formatting & types of attachments included in the main product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Create customized, live reports that offer insights that would be otherwise timely and/or impractical to create and update. It also gives us a way to distribute data with all our stakeholders.

Some of the metrics are not able to be clicked into easliy- instead it just adds a filter which is annoying.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All departments in our company can pull any data they need for whatever purposes they find necessary. It's great that we can all go to the same place to pull different sets of data.
Good Platform Overall
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is pretty intuitive and there are a lot of applications and feature to utilize.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be challenging to transition from other BI platforms like Tableau to Domo. Since users are more familiar with other platforms, we have trouble with adoption.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Domo to display sales dashboards.

What do you like best about the product?
Domo is one of the most powerful and intuitive platforms I've ever used. Their propritary no-code Magic ETLv2 transformation software is brilliantly fast, helping run day-long SQL transforms in as little as a few minutes. What's nice about Domo is it is a full end-to-end soltuion. It provides the connectors to pull data from thousands of APIs, the transformation tools to get that data into a form that is usage and combine it with other data, and the charting software to display that data in clean, effective charts with proper governance to ensure consumers only see what they need to.
What do you dislike about the product?
Domo's customer service is some of the worst I've seen for a SaaS product. Their customer service reps are very non-technical and don't understand the product very well. Worse is they operate under the assumption until proven wrong that your using the product wrong, instead of their being an actual issue. In additon, Domo rarely roles out improves to preexisting features and seems to ignore product feedback from customers on the whole.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Domo across our businees, from marketing and sales to finance and accounting. We've found Domo most useful in creating curated reports for users to consume their data in a centralized place, in an easy to understand manner. But we also use Domo to power any data in our other systems like managing active users, automatically creating expense reports, and keeping projects synced from one system to another.
Satisfied with the capabilities of Domo
What do you like best about the product?
I like the wide range of visualizations I can create using data pulled from Snowflake. It becomes a very easy process once I have a SQL query written that summarizes my data.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how much Domo "pre-analyzes" a dataset for me when I'm trying to create a visualization. For example, I would create a visualization using a dataset, and Domo will automatically summarize a field that doesn't make sense to summarize (like count of a data variable)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Domo gives me the ability to create reports that are run and sent to email distros at set intervals. Seeing that many of my tasks are repeated monthly, this is very useful.
A great Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Domo is a fantasic visualization platform! It allows me to create stakeholder facing visuals easily and quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There can be a bit of a high learning curve at the start, that said Domo provides the tools you need to get up to speed.

Domo is allowing me to create data visualizations that stakeholders find easy to use, realiable and informative.
Somewhat steep learning curve but worth the effort
What do you like best about the product?
We are able to access and analyze data points from pretty much every aspect of the business. Domo is very patient with new users, so it's pretty easy to get the hand of things after a while.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, our connections break and it can be a bit of time to figure out where to fix things. So far we've been pretty quick to get back on the horse after any down time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to analyze the full picture across a products life cycle. We have been able to accurately forecast production within a slim margin of error and are much more efficient and profitable as a result.

Though user friendly, I wish I understood a little better how to work the back-end. The training is great, but I find it hard to dedicate the time to learning it.

Domo Makes Me Look Good
What do you like best about the product?
The agility and flexibility of the data visualizations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. It's a fantastic tool! The solution has addressed all my challenges.

Marketing attribution, predict forecasting, inventory management.
