DOMO reporting
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of using the tool and its ability to report on large and complex datasets which lot of other tools cannot handle

Report performance decreases when you have large data sets

Consolidated reporting needs of stakeholders by user roles. Ability to perform basic analytics for decision making

Great tool if they fit the current need

What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to feed all of our tracking and metrics into DOMO. We can then build reports from all the data we're collecting by filtering for what we need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Big learning curve. If you aren't a big data person, this'll take some training to know how to use and build reports for yourself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building reports for the whole business and allow individuals to filter for the information they need.
Connectors for days
What do you like best about the product?
Domo has amazing visualization tools, I can view my numbers (and drill down) from my phone, and the team at Domo can connect any of our data sets to our dashboard. And as soon as it's updated in our system, it's updated in Domo. Real- time data is a real thing.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't solve the issues of dirty data, but that also comes along with the territory. More collaboration with CRMs could solve many issues within our sales team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're getting access to our data in real time. And we don't have to wait for 10 minutes to update and drill down into those numbers. No more power point presentations because Domo is self service. We can present right out of the dashboard. Our engineers love it because they no longer have to manually transform the data from our CRM, that's all manual now. Domo can connect to just about anything.
Great for visualizing data
What do you like best about the product?
Prior to using Domo, our organization had no way of viewing data in a visualized, easy to digest way. Our IT team now can take data from all of our departments to create a snapshot of the customers we're serving by all types of data points such as location, age, race, district, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's definitely a lot of initial set-up with tying in to various systems that you're using to capture data, but with the right implementation, once it's set up it's easier to automate. There is still some manual uploading of spreadsheets for some departments, but again, with templates set up, you do save some time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to look at the data we have to best serve our community. We look at trends of who we're serving and where, and figure out where the gaps are to devote more time and funding to make sure we're serving the entire county.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking for a way to make your data visually appealing and easier for the average person to digest, Domo is a great tool. You can create all types of charts, graphs, maps etc.

Domo is a good clould analytics platform which simplifies a lot of Analytics use cases and is seamless while integrating with other tools

The security and admin setup and options are very less which leads us to go back to the vendor a lot

What do you like best about the product?
Simple to set up and visualize KPIs for high-level business users across the company

Although it has improved, there still needs to be more features when building dashboards

We're easily transforming high volume datasets to find insights
DOMO took me from BI novice to wizard with its user-friendly interface.
What do you like best about the product?
Using DOMO, I can quickly create visualizations that would take me much longer using Excel or other software platforms alone. I also like the Magic ETL feature which let's me effortlessly transform data and combine information from multiple source. Finally, theDomo Community forum provides a robust community of current and former Domo engineers as well as data analysts at other companies ready and willing to help. My company uses DOMO daily to share and receive data for constant improvement.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when uploading data, DOMO may accidentally save dates as Text instead of a date. This error can sometimes create issues when creating graphs. Additionally, when creating visualizations, DOMO may sometimes wrongly assume the data that I want to show. Sometimes I would just prefer to start completely from scratch.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In my role, I support healthcare professionals who are always more educated than I am and often more tenured. Nevertheless, I need to provide them with actionable data that help them efficiently run their practices and departments. DOMO let's me provide the reuired data while staying HIPAA compliant.
Not Just a Data Visualization Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to tell stories with Domo is impressive. The customizability and freedom within the tool allows users to tell stories with their data and present them in an easy-to-understand format for all sorts of audiences.
What do you dislike about the product?
Though the list of connectors is quite robust, some are difficult to connect with initially.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Domo allows us to give sales reps (and other parties) both high-level and detailed looks into things that truly matter to them on a live, up-to-the-minute scale. This gives the reps more power to understand their jobs and to make decisions on the fly.
Def needs lots of brain power
What do you like best about the product?
I love all of the features that I change the view of the data without actually changing the data so you never have to start from scratch
What do you dislike about the product?
It's extremely complicated in some areas and the step by step guides don't show everything needed. I wish there was a chat option to chat with a specialist when we want someone to help us create our work
