Identifying "hidden" trends and lifts in conversions by week, month, quarter, etc.

On The Rise
What do you like best about the product?
Speed, Time to market, ability to quickly bring in disparate data sources transform data and output mobile cards and alerts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lacking ability to generate financial report layouts similar to capabilities with Business Objects. This makes it harder and more expensive as we need to invest in an app. Needs ability to output pdf's for financial tabular reports. Needs a UI for app building that allows a novice to drag and drop features together to form their own app rather than coding it out.
Analyzer should allow common fields across datasets to be filtered together so card underneath refresh without having to flip to individual data set.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Advertising campaign management across multiple platform datasets. Financial reporting to retire our Business Projects platform. CPM and rate calculators for pricing based on historical data.

What do you like best about the product?
The options we now have to our access our data and the visual aspect to our data
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of granularity for setting up workbench jobs to run. For example, I would like to run a job multiple times a week at specific times of the day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Seeing and correlating data in a visual manner also decisions to be made quicker

What do you like best about the product?
Platform is very easy to use and looks amazing. It allows us to democratize data across our organization and encourages collaboration via the social features. Love ETL and DOMO Buzz.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cannot get detailed Canadian maps at the city level. No french language. If your organization spans multiple time zones, your current day card can show no data as time zone was set to UTC time not end user's time. Administrators should have all access to cards and datasources. Right now unless the cards or datasources is shared, even administrators cannot manage the cards / datasources.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Make data transparent and automate reporting so we can have real time data. We were able to save days each month of manual processing of excel and power point presentations.

What do you like best about the product?
* Ease of connecting a variety of systems with minimal upfront work (i.e. can connect to SalesForce in a few minutes without needing to understand their API)
* Flexibility & ease of creating visualizations and setting up the data flows that power them.

What do you dislike about the product?
* ETL layer is not as robust as other solutions on the market
* Product is still relatively new, so some enterprise-class functionality is not yet part of the platform (but sounds like some is on the roadmap)

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to actually get a holistic view of our business, removing data from both real and imagined silos, and shining light on the importance of data & system hygiene. We also have saved a good deal of time that was previously dedicated to manually creating reporting and insights.

What do you like best about the product?
The visualization is what initially drew me to Domo and our ability to replace an old and outdated scorecard application.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only two dislikes thus far: (1) a bit of functionality is lacking and we cannot replicate some reports we have in Excel (but we will get over it, not really a dislike); (2) connection to our Oracle on-prem ERP has been a bit of a challenge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Biggest one thus far is general transparency to the results of the Company.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do a good deal of planning out your company goals and objectives and use those goals and targets to define your Domo objectives.

Ease of use, data pull scheduling, I can teach someone to use Domo in a couple of hours.
What do you dislike about the product?
Domo talk pops up automatically when you edit older cards.
The formatting of older cards does not carry.

Great visualization tool
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to create visualization cards of data (primarily use it with SFDC).
What do you dislike about the product?
How data flow works and data integration. Such as deleting fields in SFDC will cause data flow issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We want to show data in a nicer way to executives and board members than what we can create in SFDC reporting and dashboards. The tool works for that but cards could break due to mismanaged changes in SFDC.

What do you like best about the product?
I love automating my reporting. As an accountant, I save hours by setting up Domo cards to report financial and sales data to managers and executives.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be tricky to display everything exactly how I want it especially when I have a more complex set of information that needs to be displayed. It think the App Store is going to help with that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding our business, controlling growth, and making decisions that are based on data. We margin issues that we have solved by pinpointing the problem in Domo, making adjustments, then tracking the data afterwords. This has increased our bottom line.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Can be incredible for your company, The customization and social aspects of Domo can't be matched. I understand it is more expensive, but it has definitely been worth the investment.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to connect all my company's data sources and merge information together.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, there is interface lag in the card builder and the Magic ETL builder if you are dealing with relatively high complexity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are surfacing valuable information on lead attribution and associating revenue to traffic sources. We look forward to leveraging some of Big Squid's predictive capabilities in the future.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
DOMO's maximum potential lies in implementing across the business, to do this, you need ALL of the executive buy-in.
